Core statement: We do not build apps against anyone. We build self-reflection tools that strengthen each person's own awareness, agency and safety.
Our purpose
Safety in Relationships Oy exists to help people build safer, less violent and happier relationships. Our tools support individuals in noticing their own feelings, needs, boundaries, patterns and choices — without casting another person as an enemy, a diagnosis or a defendant.
What Flag Tracker is
A self-reflection and journaling tool for your own patterns.
A way to slow down, name what you notice and consider safer next steps.
A pointer toward proper help (crisis lines, professionals) when the situation calls for it.
A tool that strengthens your own agency and respects your decisions.
What Flag Tracker is not
A therapist, psychologist or mental-health service.
A lawyer, court or evidence-building tool against another person.
A diagnostic system that labels someone as narcissistic, abusive or dangerous.
A crisis service for situations of immediate danger.
User safety principles
Your autonomy, honesty about uncertainty, safe referrals to real-world help, data minimisation and calm, respectful language.
How we think about AI
If we use AI, it supports your own thinking — never as an authority that judges people. AI must not diagnose anyone, must not label a third party as guilty or dangerous from a one-sided description, and must point toward real help in acute situations.
What we will not build
Apps designed to attack, shame, control, surveil or build a case against another person.
Features that produce certain interpretations about a third party from a single user's description.
Therapy, clinical, diagnostic or legal services without separate qualification and oversight.
A gendered enemy framing of violence or unsafety.
Engagement loops that build dependency on the app at the expense of your wellbeing.
If you are in acute danger
Flag Tracker is not a crisis service. If you or someone close to you is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your country.
We build tools that help a person meet themselves and others more responsibly. We do not build tools that turn another person into a target.
